What happens when I arrive?
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted warmly by our office manager. If you haven’t already completed your paperwork online, you’ll be given it to fill out in the office before your adjustment, so we have everything we need to give you the best possible care.
What is spinal traction, and why do I do it first?
Before your exam, you’ll have the opportunity to use our spinal traction table — similar to a massage bed — which helps warm up and relax your muscles. This preps your body so the doctor can perform a smoother, more effective adjustment once your exam is complete.
What happens during my exam and consultation?
After traction, you’ll be taken back for a thorough exam and consultation with the doctor, including a hands-on palpation exam. This is also where the doctor walks through your concerns, questions, and specific goals for your appointment, so your care plan is built around what you actually need.
Will I get adjusted on my first visit?
If you’re coming in for an adjustment, the doctor will perform it during this visit, walking you through exactly what to expect along the way. He’ll also discuss any additional services that could help you reach your goals — whether that’s weight loss, injury prevention, or another area of focus — so you leave with a clear picture of your full care plan.
